Hunters: Hot and Cold IHunters: Hot and Cold I by Crimson-Kaizer
The train to Sunny Summer parts north zoomed down the tracks, the metal exterior rattling against the cold wind. Within the metal shell, many people sat anxiously taking in the sights as the train zoomed passed. Many felt a compulsion to comment on the beauty of the landscape. The various voices that came from the other passengers were a blessing to Macintosh, as they were far easier to tolerate than the voice of his temporary partner, Soarin Highlane.
“And then that time you KO’ed that one chump with a single punch! It was so awesome!” Soarin cheered and Mac sighed. It was bad enough that he had already shown how little he took the mission seriously, but now he was acting like a total fan boy; praising the older Hunter like a child meeting their hero.
“Look, ya don’t need to keep bringin’ all that stuff up. Ah ain’t no different from any other Hunter.”
“Says the guy who took out five fiends by himself,” Soarin retorted.
